Intro to Bellydance

Our 8 Week Intensives are designed to provide Absolute Beginners with the foundations for bellydance movements. Each session covers the same Arabia Adorned Core Focused Technique curriculum while changing the combinations & choreography providing a different perspective each time. Choreographies are taught to provide students with a mental map of the movements, so both continuing students and absolute beginners will enjoy this easy and fun way to learn the ancient art of bellydance!

Students must complete any two courses above before enrolling into the next level, Class1 Topaz. Classes are offered monthly so there will always be a new class to join once you've finished your first one! Level Assessment Dates: TBA for 2009

• Arabia Adorned Level Assessments are conducted by director, Dafne Canales Lees
• There is NO PASS or FAIL! Arabia Adorned Level Assessments are a guideline for both the student and instructor as a step by step checklist that clearly identifies areas of strength and areas that need improvement.
• They assist in placing new students to Arabia Adorned into the appropriate bellydance class, so that they may be continue studying bellydance at a challenging level
• The AA Level Assessments are also a great learning tool for current students to determine what movements they need to continue perfecting.
• Assessing students each semester, allows instructors to create comprehensive class outlines each semester which include new and challenging material as well as clearly defined areas to review.
