Hip Fest, Canada’s Oriental Dance Festival, is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the Canadian Rocky Mountains, while learning from spectacular masters of dance.

Last Minute Details About the Workshops
1. Please pack a lunch if you'll be attending 2 classes in a row. We will be providing light snacks, but because of the drop in format for Hip Fest we're not able to provide a full meal for lunch.
2. Locations

The Workshop will be held at St Vladimir's Cultural Centre
PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW LOCATION for the SHOW
BELGO BRASSERIE 501 - 8TH AVENUE SW
Doors @ 7:30pm, Show @ 8:30pm.

3. Please bring a veil to Hadia's Oriental Workshop on Sunday
4. Please bring Finger Cymbals and Caftan or Robe to Cassandra's Sunday Class
5. Please print out the attached waivers and bring them to registration.
6. Please sign-in each day by initialing your attendance at our registration table
7. There will be a special registration table set up for everyone who has purchased the entire package (Hip Fest Infinity)
8. Hadia would like to move the Saturday Salsa Oriental workshop to a 3pm start (therefore, it will finish at 6pm). If anyone has a problem/time conflict with this please let me know.
9. We need to know if anyone needs to be picked up at the C-train station before the workshops. Please email me back if you require a ride from the C-Train to St Vladimir's so that we have someone there.
I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
- Hip Fest has made arrangements with Econo Lodge Inn & Suites University 403-289-1921, winner of the AHLA Housekeeping Award 2008.
- Hip Fest rates are $79 per room, which can accommodate upto 4 guests
- Attendees should take the C-Train to Bridgeland where a shuttle bus will be waiting for you each morning to take you directly to St Vladimir's.

I'm also attending Hadia's Teacher Training, will I receive a discount on Hip Fest classes?
- Yes, Hadia has arranged for her teacher training student to receive special discounts.
- Hadia will be offering $50 off Teacher Training if you register in her 3 workshops at Hip Fest.
- Please indicate on your Hip Fest registration that you are also taking Hadia's TT so that we can forward your registration confirmation to Hadia.
- Please email Hadia Directly once you have registered at Hip Fest so that you can receive your discount.
I'd like to register for Hadia's Teacher Training in Calgary the week before and after Hip Fest, where do I find out more information?

Teacher Training Level 1 & 2 with Hadia

Teacher Training will be offered the week before and after Hip Fest. Ask Hadia about special pricing for taking both Hip Fest & Teacher Training.
Level 1 - October 26 - 29th, 2009
Level 2 - November 2 - 5th, 2009
There is a possibility that Hadia will be teaching Level 3, please let us know if you're interested as a minimum number of students is required.
